I had a funny old night last night, I babysat for a friend and as they were walking me home we saw this lady kind of stumbling towards us, she looked very drunk and was carrying large shopping bags, as she got closer she fell backwards into the road and landed on her head. I went running to her and could see she had blood on her clothes and coming from her head, so we managed to carry her off the road and sat her down, I rang an ambulance my friends kept her talking and held a tissue to the wound, the woman I was on the phone to told me to take my shirt off and hold it firmly over the bleeding until the ambulance arrived. Arund this time a couple walk up to us and ask if she's ok, they said that they had seen her earlier and were going to ring an ambulance for her...I noticed the guy had a bloody nose and as soon as the ambulance appeared they ran away..... the two ambulance people were great, and tried very hard to get the woman to speak to them coherently but it just wasn't happening , they said the wound on her head was very big and quite messy, they carried her into the ambulance and said there was nothing else we could do, the poor woman was trying to hug us and thanks us as they were putting her in the ambulance, so Vic and Neil walked me back to the flat and we all washed the blood off our hands and I put on a warm top and had a glass of wine! Funny old night! I can remember her name..it was Joanne and what she looked like, but I cant remember her surname! I know her sisters name is Heather because she had a presription for her in one of her bags...I want to ring up the hospital and ask if she's ok.
